Legal Aid Of Western Michigan

Legal Aid of Western Michigan (LAWM) is a nonprofit law firm providing free legal advice and representation to low income individuals in a broad range of areas including consumer cases, family matters, housing problems, government benefits, and more.

LAWM is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors. Our Board is made up of 21 lawyers and representatives of the low income community who are committed to guiding the program in its efforts to provide high-quality legal assistance to those who otherwise would be unable to obtain legal counsel. Our Board also ensures that LAWM is accountable to its clients.
