The Salvation Army, an international non-profit Christian organization whose mission is to meet human needs without discrimination, was founded in 1865 and has been operating in the greater Grand Rapids/ Kent County area since 1883.
The Salvation Army Social Services supports more than 10,000 Kent County households each year to meet their urgent needs and improve their well-being.
